Michael Black

Ten years of community college experience at Allan Hancock College.  Joined the college in 2007 as the Managing Director of PCPA (Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts) and in 2010 added the role of Director of Auxiliary Accounting to my responsibilities.  Served as Interim Associate Superintendent / Vice President of Finance and Administration from January 1, 2015 to June 1, 2015.  I was the successful candidate in the interview process and was appointed to the position on June 1, 2015.

Prior to Allan Hancock College I worked in private industry (steel production and manufacturing) for 26 years. I held mid-level and senior level leadership roles in finance, planning, logistics, customer service, sales and marketing.

I hold a Master of Science Degree in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University in Sacramento.
